Most of our janitorial and cleaning positions are evening and night shifts, typically starting after 5:00 or 6:00 PM. This is because we clean commercial buildings after business hours. Some positions, including factory cleaning roles in Michigan and Ohio, may include weekend or early-morning shifts depending on the facility. We do our best to offer consistent, predictable schedules so you can plan your life around your work, not the other way around.

A typical shift for a Janitorial Technician at Stathakis begins with a check-in at your assigned building, reviewing the scope of work for that site. Tasks may include vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning and restocking, trash removal, dusting, and surface disinfection. In manufacturing or factory settings, common at both our Ohio and Michigan sites, you may also perform industrial floor cleaning and production-area sanitation. You'll use professional-grade equipment and follow standardized procedures to maintain consistent quality. Your supervisor is available for support, and the schedule is consistent from night to night.

Stathakis provides all equipment and supplies so you don't need to bring anything. Depending on your role, you may use commercial vacuums, microfiber mopping systems, floor buffers, carpet extractors, restroom cleaning caddies, and professional-grade cleaning chemicals. At some industrial and factory sites, steel-toe boots may be required (you'll be informed during hiring). All equipment is maintained regularly, and you'll receive full training on everything before you use it.
